Grand Canyon Rafting Expedition
188 miles of river, 60 world-class rapids, and sleeping under the stars...
Must arrive in Las Vegas July 22nd, 2025 to join us on the river July 23rd -28th.
This trip is an S3 favorite! When we first offered this trip, everyone who signed up told us this was on their bucket list. Well this adventure really lives up to bucket list expectations, and you'll see why if you join us. We've run this trip many times, and it's always a huge crowd pleaser.
This world-class experience rafting down the wild Colorado River through the Grand Canyon is hard to describe and it's truly a humbling experience. The cold water, the hot sun, the geology, and the mind boggling views will all take your breath away.
Check out our video and pictures from a previous trip here.
S3 likes to keep our adventures intimate and personal, so we've arranged for a solo launch (one raft vs. the typical two-raft launches) to make this more comfortable for you. 18 of us, along with 2 professional river guides, will board the raft at mile zero of the Colorado River and be completely off the grid for six days as we explore one of the most secluded places on the planet.
It takes a long time to get a permit for these trips, so S3 signs up early to reserve a solo launch boat every other year. Reserve your spot today -- these trips sell out fast!
Please note that this trip starts and ends in Las Vegas, Nevada, and everyone must be in Las Vegas the day before the adventure starts for an overnight at the host hotel. We’ll have a welcome reception and cocktail party at that hotel the night before we depart. We'll be picked up in the early a.m. hours from the host hotel and shuttled to a private airport where we’ll take private charter planes up to Marble Arch, AZ to board the raft.
After we push off, we'll be off the grid for 6 days. No electricity, no cell phones, no creature comforts from back home. This might sound crazy, but it's so refreshing to unplug and take it all in.
All food and supplies come with us down the river, and you'll set up camp every night along the river's edge on the sand bars.
On completion of the trip you will be lifted out of the canyon via helicopter and take a short aerial tour of the canyon before boarding a private charter flight back to Las Vegas.
We will arrive back in Las Vegas by 3pm on the last day of our adventure. It's your choice to spend that final night in Vegas or to catch a commercial flight home that same day.
S3 can help you with travel arrangements and rooms if needed. S3 can also help you secure trip insurance for this adventure.
